Velem, a vibrant hub for commercial and fashion photography, is on the hunt for a spirited individual with a knack for social media, content strategy, and the production process. We’re nestled in the heart of NYC, specializing in print production, retouching, video editing, film production, and running a bustling photo studio.

As our Social Media Manager, here’s what you’ll dive into:

• Propel our content strategy and marketing endeavors, with a spotlight on social media and digital marketing.
• Be an Immersive part of the entire production process within a nurturing environment.
  

Your Role:

• Team up with Senior Management to give a voice to the content we create.
• Engage and grow our audience on social media. Instagram, YouTube, all best-in-practice outlets.
• Strategically expand our content across platforms, keeping a pulse on the latest trends.
• Create captivating social media content and predict the next big thing in the art and design sphere.
• Assist in asset curation.
• Keep a close eye on content across all our social media and marketing platforms. Daily insights and account monitoring will be part of your routine, with weekly reviews.
• Manage our newsletter contact lists. If you’ve used Mailchimp before, that’s a bonus!

Previous Experience:

• 2+ years working within a marketing, social media, advertising company.
• Working knowledge of InDesign, film editing tools, Photoshop, social media management software programs.
• Understanding and experience in generating analytic reports and Best Practice marketing tools.
• Have an understand of web design and be able to create and edit web pages.
